Lykaios--meaning "wolfish" or "wolf-like" (Greek-- is the alpha in the wolf pack that I've created.
With my wolves, wings are a sign of power. When a new wolf (male or female) is appointed as alpha, they gain wings. The colour of the wings depend on their gender and what pack they are from. This pack's wing colour is--rather obviously-- blue. A male alpha would have darker blue wings. She's not a very good example as the standard wolf of this pack. Generally, this pack is distinguished by their dark grey fur with blue designs. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
